Candle Safety and Care Instructions
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience with your homemade candle, please follow these important guidelines:
- Never Leave a Burning Candle Unattended. Always keep your candle within sight while it’s lit and keep it away from anything flammable.
- Keep Out of Reach of Children and Pets. Ensure your candle is placed in a secure, safe spot, away from curious hands or paws.
- Trim the Wick. Before each use, trim the wick to 1/4 inch to avoid excessive flame, smoke, or soot buildup.
- Burn on a Stable, Heat-Resistant Surface. Always place your candle on a flat, non-flammable surface, away from drafts to ensure an even burn.
- Limit Burn Time. For safety and optimal performance, do not burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Allow it to cool before relighting.
- Avoid Moving a Burning Candle. Never attempt to move a candle while it’s burning—wait until it’s cool to the touch.
- Handle with Care. The container and wax may become hot during use. Avoid direct contact with the flame or hot wax.
Storage Tips: Store your candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat to preserve its quality.
